Each drawing indexes an alla prima process. It feeds on early gestures, made of air and with stealth movements [...]. to draw is to know you are alone, ie, ready to face the unknown and learn to multiply, or move and metamorphose.
The Magnolia series is above all a reference to what is unsaid , to what which, by suspending the look, is completed by the ineffable in the paths of sense perception. Therein lies the poetry of drawing.
